When Junmo first joins the Gangnam Union, he gets himself a small apartment. His patrol partner, Bae Yongdae, moves there (without invitation) after leaving his parents' house when they move away. Although Junmo "lives" there, he actually sleeps in the Undercover Operations HQ during the day.
After Junmo pretends to save Gicheul's life, he moves from the apartment into a room in the Gangnam Union HQ to serve as Gicheul's bodyguard, while Yongdae continues living in the apartment. After Junmo fails to kill Manager Cho, he temporarily moves back into the apartment with Yongdae.
The apartment is square, but separated into two rooms. One is a bathroom, of which only the doorway is visible; but it seems to have a shower in it as Junmo exits the room with a towel around his neck; that room cuts into the square main room on that side.
The main room is tiled with off-white tiles along the wall that has the front door. The door is a metal apartment door with apartment-style locks. To the right of the front door, facing inward, is a dark wooden wardrobe with a diamond pattern, with random boxes piled on top of it. Between the wardrobe and the front door is a small three-level plywood shelf. The door to the bathroom is on the right wall, with a lightweight opaque translucent door and a light switch to the right of the door. Continuing counterclockwise along the same wall is hooks on the wall where jackets and clothes are hanging.
All walls besides the front one are covered in pale wallpaper with a large pattern of flowers. Opposite the front door is a large window covered in two layers of curtains, a gauzy white one and a floral red one. Also along the left wall is a white fridge. To the left of the front door is a garbage can and a piece of furniture that might be a sink or another cabinet. A tiny window sits above that, covered with a patterned curtain. Above the fridge are cabinets built into the wall along the ceiling.
There are power outlets near the floor. The floor is bluish linoleum with bluish moulding around the floor and ceiling.
Against the left wall, on the side nearest the window, is a low bluish-green piece of furniture that seems to be a disassembled piece of a larger vanity set, used as a TV stand. The top drawer of the vanity sits beside it with a large attached mirror. They have a thin mattress under the window with mismatched pillows and red and pink blankets. During his second stay at the apartment, Junmo sleeps nearest the window.
