Mijin^[2] is a hostess at one of Jung Gicheul's nightclubs in 1995. A man tries to force himself on her, which causes Gicheul to nearly get into a fistfight, but Mijin, worried that they could get in trouble, warns Gicheul not to, as the man is rich.

One evening, Mijin cajoles the drunk rich man into his car as he tries to hit on her with no luck. Gicheul watches this from where he sits hidden on a nearby stairwell. When Mijin leaves, Gicheul beats the rich man up.

Eventually, Mijin takes meth and goes out into the upper level of the nightclub. She attempts to dance on the balcony railing before slipping and falling to her death.
